Cristiano Ronaldo Ferdinand visits former teammate in Madrid and plays football with his son
Ferdinand went in goal as Cristiano Jnr took some penalty kicks beating the former defender with a couple of shots.
Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo welcomed his former teammate Rio Ferdinand at his home in Spain and the former Manchester United defender had a kick-about with his son.
Ronaldo and Ferdinand were teammates at Manchester United where they won three Premier League titles and a Champions League title together.
Ferdinand who was in Ronaldo’s home as part of the promo for Nike’s new boot also met the son of the Real Madrid star Cristiano Jnr.
During
a kick-about on the small pitch in Ronaldo’s home, Ferdinand went in
goal as Cristiano Jnr took some penalty kicks beating the former
defender with a couple of shots.
When they sat for an
interview, Ronaldo talked about his unforgettable time at Manchester
United before his then record move to Real Madrid.
Ronaldo also showed
off his crazy collection of footwears from Nike who have been his kit
sponsors all through his football career.
Ronaldo has won a
plethora of trophies in his football career and he also revealed that
winning silverware remain his No. 1 motivation.
“Inside the pitch, the most important is always to win trophies because we work 10, 11 months,” Ronaldo told Ferdinand.
“If you don't win nothing it's empty, you know? I like to win trophies - collective and individual - because I work hard for that.”
